Confederation Theatre Society is a new community theatre group in Calgary. We are dedicated to primarily producing works by Canadian playwrights. We are an amateur not-for-profit community theatre group, and value the commitment of our volunteers.

The plays will be performed at the Pumphouse Theatre at 2140 Pumphouse Avenue SW, Calgary, Alberta T3C 3P5.

The number one goal of the Confederation Theatre Society is to provide first rate entertainment. We do have one other goal and that is to perform works by local authors. This is important to us as we know that it is difficult to get works performed, and we think that we must encourage local talent.

We are a mix of individuals who have been around the theatre scene for many years. We think that we know what we’re doing. But the audience will be the judge.

Our premier performance is the comedy “For a Mature Audience Only” and starts on Friday, January 22nd and runs through Saturday, January 30th 2016. Showtime is 7:30 pm. There are no matinee performances.
