| How to Handle Heightened Text with Iam Coulter Do you feel lost with Shakespeare? Is your classical monologue causing you grief? Are Gilbert’s words feeling forced? SYNOPSIS: Iam will lead this class through how to find your comfort-zone with “Heightened Text” (anything from Shakespeare and other classical pieces, to modern stylized works). Our emphasis will be on how to make formal or unusual text your own, and finding connection with it personally.
