| THE SLEEPING BEAUTY December 4th to 13th, 2015 By Ben Crocker Directed by Jay Newman Show Times: Wed - Sat at 7:30, Sat/Sun at 2:00 (no matinee Dec. 5) Tickets: Adult $20, Student/Senior $15 You know the story: the beautiful princess is cursed by an evil fairy to prick her finger on a spindle on her 18th birthday and die. Nothing says “welcome to the world” like the well wishes of a wicked spell caster who wasn’t invited to the party. You know the characters: the Princess Aurora and her royal parents, the good fairies, the evil fairy and her cat Spindleshanks and of course, the dashing Prince who saves them all from their perpetual slumber. But this isn’t your ordinary slumber party, this is Pantomime! Oh yes it is! And you know what that means – flip flop boys with girls and girls with boys, mind you aren’t in the splash zone for the slosh scene – and is that a Queen or a Dame? It’s both! It’s all topsy turvy fun and games but some things ring true always and it’s true love’s kiss that will save the day this December. We hope you’ll take a break from the hustle and bustle and join us and the zombies for this family friendly holiday tradition. | |
