| AUDITION NOTICE Urban Stories Theatre is seeking a female actor of African descent (age range: 35 to 55) who can do a believable Jamaican accent for the role of Juanita in its upcoming production of The Good and Faithful Servant. Written by local playwright Maria Crooks, who also hails from Jamaica, The Good and Faithful Servant is one of the play offerings in the Urban Stories Just Acts Play Festival to be held this spring. The Festival performance dates are: February 4 – 9, 2014 @7:30 p.m. Lower Theatre@ Knox United Church 506 Fourth Street S.W. To request an audition, please send an email to info@urbanstoriestheatre.org Include your contact details, as well as a head shot and acting resume. If you do not have theatre experience, please tell us, but still include a head shot. Please prepare a short monologue (up to three minutes) to do at the audition.
