| We have assembled most of a great cast and are looking for certain individuals for certain roles: "Rolf" - 18 year old Austrian teen who courts the Captain's daughter Liesl. We are looking for someone 16-25 years old who has experience in both singing and dance. Maria - The central character of the show; she is a young woman who comes to an aristocratic Austrian home to be governess, and falls in love with the Captain. Excellent singing skills required, limited dance needed. We are looking for the right spark in an actor that can capture Maria's innocent wisdom. Prefer someone under 35. Friedrich - the 14 year-old eldest son of the Captain. Singing and limited dancing required. We prefer a taller teen with an unchanged voice. We also invite children ages 6 - 14 years for the chorus. This is an excellent opportunity for children who are interested in musical theatre but have no experience. Auditions will be held at 2236 - 35 St. SE, Calgary on September 8 from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M.
