| Spotlight Theatre Program StoryBook Theatre Society is thrilled to announce the addition of the Spotlight program for ages 6 to 16+ to its Theatre School programming. Spotlight is a year-long weekly program with master classes in theatre arts. Students in the program will train in all aspects of the performing side of theatre and will learn the fundamentals of dance, acting, and singing, all while working towards a year-end show. Unlike in other programs, these students will take centre stage in our biggest show, alongside the principal actors of StoryBook's year-end show, Shrek, the Musical. Two matinees have been set aside for these students to perform parts of the main stage production, providing them with the opportunity to take part in a high-quality production and learn from seasoned community theatre artists and professionals. The course runs on Saturday afternoons from September 14th to June 15 (no class October 12, December 21 & 28, January 4, February 15, May 17).
