A quick refresher or an introduction to The Meisner Technique. Whether you are a seasoned professional, or an emerging artist this class is for you. Students will work with where they are in their understanding of the technique and learn the skills needed to free up their instrument in order to connect fully with authenticity on stage to deliver a powerful performance. Not for the faint of heart! Cindy Christensen is a Toronto based actor / director / instructor who specializes in teaching The Meisner Technique. She is a graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse School Of The Theatre, in New York City, where the Meisner Technique was founded and developed and completed her Teacher Training Certificate under the mentorhsip of Richard Pinter, Head Of Acting, Neighborhood Playhouse in 2005. She has performed professionally in New York, Toronto and Calgary and was the founder of Playhouse North School Of Theatre, where she served as Director for 11 years. Currently she resides in Toronto where she freelances as a performer / director, an instructor / workshop facilitator, and is the co-founder of Odyssey Promotions Corp. | |
