| ACTING & ADAPTATION with Jason Hildebrand On SATURDAY June 26th from 9:30-2:30 at Centre Street Church 3900-2nd St. NE PLEASE RSVP TO val@fireexit.ca by June 23rd ONLY $25 Jason is the master of taking stories and scripture and turning ithem into script. He will walk us through the process (adaptation to production) of some of his projects – David, Job, Herod, Blue Like Jazz Live and the Prodigal and inspire us with our own stories! Greta for actors, directors, writers and creators. About Jason… Jason Hildebrand is a professional actor, award-winning filmmaker, and communication coach. He has performed in theatre, film and television, and continues to tour the globe with his acclaimed solo performances. His current solo performance repertoire includes: The Prodigal Trilogy, Blue Like Jazz // Live, Life of David, Herod the Great, and Himself - The Story of A.B. Simpson. Mulit-award winning The Prodigal Trilogy film and Blue Like Jazz // Live are available on DVD. Selected stage credits include: James Keller in The Miracle Worker, the adventurous Mr.Toad in the Dora Award nominated Wind In The Willows, the zealous Ez in Shell Game, and a host of characters in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Brookstone Performing Arts; the rabid Dog and fierce Angel in Mad Forrest at The Toronto Centre; the dangerous Zak in The Heart As It Lived, and the scheming Rev. David in The Foreigner, Theatre And Company; the delirious Antonio in The Tempest, the valiant Gov. Philip in Our Country's Good, and the shifty Oswald in King Lear, Theatre at York. Selected writing credits include: Blue Like Jazz // Live, Life of David, Job Alive, The Prodigal Trilogy, Himself - The Story of A.B. Simpson, The Wooden Angel, The Big Red Door and Herod the Great. Jason has a degree in acting from the renowned York University theatre school in Toronto, Canada. He completed this after one year of theological study. | |
