FIRE EXIT THEATRE announces Auditions for the final show of their season... The First Church of Texaco – written by Andrew Librizzi and directed by Val Lieske Runs: March 30th- April 3rd, 2010 at the Engineered Air Theatre – Epcor Centre Meet Stanton Presley - "the youngest CEO of the 16th largest corporation. "He has curiously jetted into the small town of Blessin', TX, to set up his new headquarters, intentionally hiring the local ex-Rice Queen, Alice, as his secretary. Suddenly, Stanley's mysterious plans are interruped when, through a combination of small town gossip and mistaken identity, he winds up the "Pastor" of the First Church of Texaco. This campy romantic comedy is all about losing a fortune, finding a treasure and winning an Emmy on the highway of life. Alice Mann -Forties, small town southern girl. Big hair, big heart. Her God and her family are most important. Not afraid of anyone. Emmi - Fifteen year old from the streets of California. Has hard a hard life but sees the world very simply. Hard on the outside, soft on the inside. Brad Prescott - Thirties, yuppie, yes-man. Stanton’s right hand man and will do anything to get to the top. | |
