| Auditions for "Bullshot Crummond" "Bullshot Crummond" is a parody stage play of the British pulp hero Bulldog Drummond. This parody of a low-budget 30s detective movies typifies British heroism at its dumbest. If you remember Dewdneys production of The 39 Steps, this play is in the same genre. The show is designed to be performed by only five actors, one of whom plays seven characters: HUGH "BULLSHOT" CRUMMOND - Ex-officer of His Majesty's Royal Loamshires MISS ROSEMARY FENTON - A young English lady of Turnbridge Wells OTTO VON BRUNNO - The second most dangerous man in Europe LENYA VON BRUNNO - Otto's evil mistress Professor Fenton (Rosemarys father); Crummond's friend Algy; a Chinese assassin; a local police officer; a waiter in a hotel restaurant; a one-armed Scotland Yard inspector (who is really one of Otto's henchmen in disguise); and a Cockney crook Production dates are October 19th - November 4th and we will be rehearsing 2 - 3 days per week. Auditions will be held on: Monday, June 26th and Tuesday, June 27th between 7:00pm - 9:00pm Aldersyde Community Hall 102 Dennis Street Aldersyde, AB (search Google Maps for: Pacific Avenue Tattoo - we are across the street) Please come with a short comedic monologue. If you do not have a monologue prepared, we will ask you to do a cold reading from the script. Heck, you might even be asked to do a cold reading even if you have a monologue prepared.
