| Dewdney Players is holding auditions for cast members for “Clue – The Musical” on Sunday, October 27 from 3 pm to 5 pm and Wednesday, October 30 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Aldersyde Community Hall – 102 Dennis Street, Aldersyde. Come prepared to sing a musical piece of your choice – a cappella or you can bring a backing track which we can plug into a sound system (phone, iPod, etc). We are seeking eight roles, ranging from age 20’s to 50’s +. Details of characters at www.dewdneyplayers.com. Production will run from February 20 – March 7, 2020 at the RPAC. Clue – The Musical Character Plot: Mr Boddy – charismatic, handsome, playful host, 30’s, soaring baritone Mrs Peacock – acerbic, manipulative, sexy socialite, plays 40’s, mezzo with belt Professor Plum – astute intellectual with a wry sense of humor, plays 30’s – 40’s, baritone Miss Scarlet – shrewd, very attractive vixen, 20’s, wide vocal range with belt Colonel Mustard – pompous randy military man, plays 40’s – 50’s, baritone Mrs White – fun-loving cockney maid, portrayed by a man, plays 40’s – 50’s, wide vocal range Mr Green – slick, handsome wheeler-dealer, 20’s, baritone/tenor Detective – hard-nosed, snappy, humorous female, 30’s, interesting singing voice. | |
