| Dewdney Players is pleased to announce auditions will be held for Plaza Suite, by Neil Simon. Directed by Mark Huolt & Dayna Coles. Audition dates are June 24th and 25th from 7-10pm at Aldersyde Community Hall (102 Dennis Street, Aldersyde). Callbacks are on the 27th from 7-10pm at Aldersyde as well. There are 10 shows: Oct 4-5, 10-12, and 17-19 with matinees on the 12th and 19th at 2pm. We will be casting shortly thereafter and will have a read through at Aldersyde on Wed July 3 at 7pm. Rehearsals to begin the first week of August- 3 days a week, depending on schedules and conflicts. Please contact Jane Platt at janepep@me.com for character breakdowns. For the auditions, Dayna and I would like to see people in 10-15 minute increments if possible. Please contact Mark at mhuolt@gmail.com to book your desired time slot. For your audition, please come prepared with a short comedic monologue, or, you may do a cold read if you can't find anything that excites you. You can use an excerpt from a play you've done before or grab something off the 'net. | |
