| Calling all Singers and Performers: Aged 7 - 107 In January 2019, the first show of the season HEROES and VILLAINS: a Disney revue will take to the stage. This magical production will take audiences on a journey through the wonderful worlds, and the characters, that we all know and love. Heroes and Villains will premiere at the BMO Theatre at the Shane Homes YMCA at Rocky Ridge from January 11 - 20, 2019. We are looking for singers of all ages (7 thru 107) to wish upon a star and channel their inner Prince, Princess or Disney character. Auditions for Heroes and Villains will be held at the ArtsLab Studio Theatre (at Music and Play in west Calgary) on three days: - October 13 (from 1:00 - 4:00) - October 14 (from 2:00 - 6:00) - October 19 (from 6:00 - 10:00) Those auditioning should come prepared to sing one song (note: it does NOT need to be a Disney song). Please bring a backing track or an accompanist if you wish (a piano and sound system will be provided). In addition to the songs, the show will also have narration opportunities and you may be asked to read a short piece that we provide to you at the audition.
